CUTV brings you a story from each high tension topic we could get this week. A group of concerned citizens gathered to raise awareness and protest the CRTC's new policy on billing for internet usage. Brave volunteers spent all night broadcasting, singing and coordinating with community radios all over Canada for CKUT's 9th Annual Homelessness Marathon. Lilian Madrid put an unforgettable seal on the Villanueva Coroner's Inquest an emotional address to rectify a lot of public smearing campaigns against her family and her sons Fredy Villanueva, killed by Montreal policeman in 2008 and Dany Villanueva, who the Canadian government wants to deport. Later this week, we'll provide a story on why the Coroner's Inquest report has been delayed. Mumia Abu-Jamal has been fighting racism, police brutality since the 60s and 70s.
